House Portrait Commission Prices
A3 Commission - Portrait or Landscape - 297 mm x 420 mm / approx 11 1/2" x 16 1/2"
Pen & Ink Drawing from £150.00 - Ink & Watercolour Illustration from £280.00
While House Portraits are generally drawn at A3, occasionally by request they might be drawn at A2 or so, which is
twice A3 at 420 mm x 594 mm / 16 1/2" x 23 1/2". In this instance the commission price might be one and a half times the A3 cost.
For example - Pen & Ink Drawing from £225.00 - Ink & Watercolour Illustration from £420.00
For clients who do not want a drawing their house in it's entirety, but prefer a detail of the house - perhaps the front door, or an
attractive garden feature, perhaps the A4 format is more appropriate. In this case the commission price might be half the A3 cost.
For example - Pen & Ink Drawing from £75.00 - Ink & Watercolour Illustration from £140.00
The simplicity or complexity of the detail will affect the time spent drawing and the commission price.
If you live in the Downham Market/Ely/King's Lynn area, weather permitting I'll be able to draw from life, and take
my own reference photos. Otherwise I will need you to email me high resolution images of your house/subject, preferably a
variety of views and close ups of so that I can get a better idea of what I'm drawing.
